I think it's an expensive toy.

 

it depends if you really like the ipod, and want it for that

the other features are gimmicks really - you can find them on most other phones too. the user interface is very good, but then again, any touch screen phone, you can get some basic software, e.g. touchFLO

if you change your browser from IE to opera in your phone you will find that the biggest thing iphone says about the real internet and pressing to zoom etc, is a free feature available to all phones running windows mobile

in all, i think if you really want an ipod player in yoru phone, go for it, else if for anything else, windows mobile based phone kicks ass

 

looks great ,the funny thing is that a lot of people is selling at ebay the old version,everyone wants the 3g one now

 

A waste of money.. you could be saving lives with the money used to pay for such a useless device.
Not that I'm against technology but items like Iphones aren't necessary. There are people out there dying because they don't have food and yet people who have the money spend it on gadgets instead of helping those who are in need.

Now to answer your question, read reviews and try it in a store to see if you're comfortable using it before buying. Also think of what you would do if it were to get stolen.. wouldn't it be better to buy a cheaper phone instead?

 

There are cheaper alternatives but using the iphone is a very unique experience.

 

i say its not worth the price , i would not buy it, instead get a cheaper one.

That is such a general statement that could be said about a lot of things and the iPhone is hardly useless.

Then again why are you on the computer and the internet? maybe you should sell your comp and disconnect your internet; to liquidate for charity.

 

Worth the $$ You pay. I love to have it in my pocket but you know it's not $199 all over the globe. They would add a $50+ in my country.

True.. but with the Iphone I have the feeling more than 50% is paid because its by Apple, which is a waste of money considering there are equally good phones out there which cost less

 

I really would love to have one but I think it's not practically for an expensive gadget...I'll just stick to my phone...

I have the old one and bought the new one. I got the 16gig white and I love it. The IPhone is the only Cell phone I have liked

 

Technically speaking, the iPhone kinda sucks compared with most other phones. Same goes for the iPod and other mp3 devices.

What you're really paying for is the design, brand name, the recognition and the lifestyle. You've got Apple's marketing team to thank for that.
