Hello, what do you think about Smowtion Publisher ads -> https://publisher.smowtion.com/ . Is there anyone who use this ads network, is it good or its scam.
Yo estoy empezando a trabajar con Smowtion, en breve sabremos como funciona. I am starting to work with Smowtion, soon we will know how it works.
Smowtion has a good thing, their support is great. Apart from that, their ads are slow and make the site slow. When there are no ads/advertisers to fill some position on the site, they fill that position with their own advertising (they do not pay their own ads). And they are very restricted in terms. If we fail once, the site is blocked. But do not like Adsense, they block the site but pay the amount that is unpaid. They are professionals and act accordingly. But I suspect that the eCPM and the revenue share that they present, does not correspond to the "real" values that we obtain... If you notice in your dashboard revenue share 80% do not believe, because you will receive the same if you have 60%. I think this is just marketing, no results for the publisher.
I joined the network on 12 Aug 2011. Have a website with over 100000 visits per month. Halfway they changed silently the minimum payout from $50 to $100, and this while 'paying' $0.02 CPM while everyone knows that it costs the advertisers at least $2 CPM! Just before payout they simply send a mail that your site doesn't meet the requirements and in violation is of their TOS. Fullstop! No discussion! No payout whatsoever! Definitively a scam!
I dont know what advertising industry you are talking about but no advertiser is paying a $2 CPM in this market. That's Inaccurate. Usually if they are direct they will pay 0.80 cent CPM's (and thats a high ball number) in a lot of campaigns i have constructed with direct advertisers we only charged them 0.35 for US and Huge Budgets. I have never seen a $2 CPM for any banners at least. I know its extremely common to get 4 to 5 dollar CPM's with POPs. I have been using Smowtion to fill inventory, they are a better network for blog's though.
