Hi, Do you think it worth the price ($350) for being listed in Shareasale marketplace? anyone experienced it? software developers specially Thank you!
Hi ankaP, Many, including me believe it's the best affiliate network in that low, low price range. Keep in mind you are not paying for the privelege of "being listed". They do all your tracking, banner serving and pay your affiliates as well as give you the chance to be listed and get in front of good affiliates. When you say "Shareasale marketplace" and because it sounds like you sell software, I think you may be trying to compare SAS with Clickbank? If so they are different breeds of networks and you'll find different types of affiliates on each. SAS is more focused on 'real' products (retail products) as opposed to info products and software. But there are lots of strong affiliates that sell software there too. Hope this helps and best of luck!
It depends on the type of software you are looking to sell. From my experience Shareasale has many good affiliates but it all depends on the actual product and how well it converts and pays...In my opinion Shareasale is right there behind CJ and Linkshare as far as super-affiliate participation.
I quit sharesale because I kept on losing sales.....their tracking systems are horrible. Then they have the worst support of any of the affiliate programs out there. I think I lost about $6,000 or so in commissions over a 3 week span, and they would not manually credit. I know I got the sales because I always offer "cash back" to anyone that buys from my links, and I was getting people claiming their discounts, with proof and all, but I never got credit. I hired an attorney ,but so far 30 days and counting and nothing.
Thank you very much for your advice. Actually, i am not sure what exactly to choose (between Shareasale and ClickBank). SAS seems less complicated than CB, but....i'm not convinced yet
