Recently I have come across a guy called Rich Schefren, who looks like he knows his stuff!

He is pretty much the only guy who I trust on the internet at the moment.

What do you guys reckon? Give me some feedback about his techniques.

and has anyone taken his courses?

I've never heard of him, which means he's probably not very good at getting his name out, which means he's probably not very good at marketing.

Ignore the previous post. If you have any interest in the IM world you should
    know about Rich Schefren.

I joined his Business Growth System two and a half years ago, when it first
came out. He bought a new direction to teaching IM - focusing on building
businesses rather than just jumping at the latest hot opportunity.

He's put out some consistently good products since then. And while they're
expensive, you should learn a lot. Though if your aim is to always be a one
man operation, he won't be for you.

And while Rich has definitely fallen into the trap of hyping up his launches
(hey, it works..) and promoting every single guru product that comes out,
he still has a lot of respect in the industry.

I also like the way he brings outside influences into the IM world (such as his
work with Dan Arielly from Predictably Irrational).

He's big into Theory of Constraints, if you know anything about that... basically
all about identifying what's holding you back.

Check out his blog and you'll get more of an idea about him.

And in regards to the previous reply, he's actually quite good at getting his name
out beyond the insular world of the IM niche..

You might also wanna give Eben Pagan a try.

He's generally even more expensive than Rich Schefren,
    but REALLY knows his stuff.

Also one of the few "gurus" to have built his own, highly
successful online empire in a totally non-"how to make
    money" niche (DoubleYourDating.com).

Eben's marketing coaching is called GetAltitude, if you
    wanna know more.

I agree with you parker. I read his manifesto and it really resonated and made sense.
Seemed like he cut a lot of the crap and just told it like it was!
