Hello all DP members! I would like to ask your opinions about paid to click traffic. Has this kind of marketing worked for you? Share your opinions and experience only. Thanks!
Pay to Click traffic like sort of Neobux? Advertising in such type of sites can only bring clean but its not targeted traffic. You can use it for CPA offers you have there.
Yes, like neobux, the only exception is that on some sites, the traffic is cheap. Non-targeted traffic? Do you mean niche-oriented traffic? It might be because most members from PTCs are wanna-be earners, earning niche is the best for such traffic.
I reckon PTC traffic is juat a total waste of time, people just click for the money and even then they dont get much money out of it
@Curry Yep, they do click for money, but as the traffic is cheap, if you except only 0.1% of conversion, you might be in profit! + They allow Geo-targeting for no additional cost, so I think it is a good try. I personally have got good result with it for a domain parked. I believe they work best for domain names parked on parking services.

From my experience, do not even bother with them. Like its been said many times on here its a complete waste of time. There are better and more efficient way of getting traffic.
@Yoichin Well, how many link credits had you bought? And if you can say, from which site? To share my stats : Uniques --- Clicks --- Earning 2363 ------ 34 ---- $8.57 Seems quite good, right?
Its just not enough results to even bother focusing on those type of traffic when you can spend that same time getting more quality traffic. My point was spend your valuable time on something that produces much better result for your business. 34 clicks and less than $10?
@Yoichin Time ? I don't even think that it requires time. Just assign the credits, thats it. And yes, 34 clicks, <$10, as I sent them on my domain parked ( longshot.in ) on namedrive. Have got 8 US clicks, but namedrive does not pay that much. Maybe because my domain name, don't know. I am still happy with it
Hey thats great man. I remember making only that much when I first started looking ways to make money. It was a good experience. But now I realized there was a much easier way. Whatever works for you is good!
@Yoichi Thanks bro ! Nice to see you making more money.. I am just trying this all in my part time. I am a full time student
PTC traffics didn't work from my past experienced. It may works in some specific niche but not with a niche I am currently in. Most of PTC traffics were driven from pop-up banner and offense approach advertising so it may drive traffics but only in a term of quantity.
Yes, they work on money earning kind of niche. Yes, you might be true that most traffic are from pop-up banner, but not in all sites. I think you had choose the wrong site to advertise on. And, there are chances that you will get at least 1% quality traffic in quantity
Personally, I'm not a big fan of PPC advertising. Most of the traffic isn't even worth the money you spend. I would prefer affiliate programs any time of the week.
I tried these kinds of networks a long time ago, but never experienced any real luck in converting traffic to sales or signups. I think this is because a lot of the traffic is clicking only for $$$, and doesn't really view the sites that are displayed.
I haven't got much luck with PTC promotion. Plus, you also risk your account from Adsense being banned, so you need to search for alternatives, which sucks too. I usually invest my money in blog advertisements or blog posts nowadays
@adnan Affiliate programs? What are their cost per thousand ? @The Stealthy One I agree with you 1000% that people don't ACTUALLY VIEW your ads while viewing them. But, we have made an add-on our site, to eliminate this biggest problem. @Aquarezz Do you know you can also buy blog posts/data entry work from PTC ? PTC is not just PTC, it has paid emails, and actions too.
