    good question I think.
electricity which obtain from nuclear power plant isn't cheaper than other options as I see and beside it is a potential threat itself even without any quake I guess.

Nuclear power is the only way we can sustain the technological world we all enjoy. We need to make electricity with nuclear power and run cars on hydrogen.

I hope you're talking about the upcoming fusion .

Fission power is an excellent modality to provide power , unfortunately it has major drawbacks in the long term . Fission combined with green has the potential to eliminate all the coal plants in the world and give us enough time to properly implement fusion power .

Nuclear power is very useful but The size of earth is small considering the negative effect it can have when it does some calamity. A city can be destroyed with compartively less nuclear feul.

Nuclear is clean energy, with no CO2 footprint. Even the highly radioactive water spilling into the pacific in Japan is not putting out CO2, and the Japanese fishing industry will soon benefit from the event.

We should also consider other cutting edge sources of green energy like burning used plastic to power steam generators, or perhaps we can go green like Brazil by chopping down millions of acres of virgin Rainforest to plant date plams in support of the bio-diesel industry.

I personally have other green energy ideas, but I'm keeping them secret.

Science without religion flies you into a radioactive Sea - Science with the wrong religion will fly you into a radioactive Sea.

Managing the Garden is the will of the Creator and of Judgment for those who will prosper - Destroying the Garden will be the condemnation of mankind, whether believers or not. The science itself is meaningless as to its management is what is required.

Something can go wrong with no compensation. It's too risky.

All science complies with religion when both are managed properly...

Whatever the Amish pursuit is, is their decision and good luck.

Organized, scripted religion quite often becomes a boundary or the dead-end of personal grandizement.

Religion is simply the path if found to reach the Outerworld of the Everlasting ruled by the Creator and the acquired Judgment for acceptance.

Your sentences is general not particular.
I think science and religion have two different fields. Science comes from human and in nuclear case as you know Mary Curry wasn't God messenger!
Anyway I'm glad knowledge of religious leaders are growing up gradually, long time ago they fought with sphere earth but now with clone and abortion.

I think that what has happened in the past with nuclear reactors should be a warning.
They are dangerous, bottom line. When things get bad, they get really bad. Really quickly.

With th exception of Chernobyl how many accidents do you know that have gone bad ? Nuclear power is as safe as it gets when we talk about viable power sources today . Wind still is hugely inefficient and solar is still years away from being truly viable , not to mention that they are non-continuous and so far no one bothered to develop a viable storage device .

Tip of the iceberg - Three Mile, all six reactors in Japan, countless unreported incidents - etc. as the waste from the process is not an accident but a threat for thousands of years into the future.

In fact it has the potential to be the most catastrophic calamity produced by civilization to date and understood by very few.

The choice to use nuclear power is economical just as unrestricted pollution of the atmosphere does save money but in reality it should be recognized for what it is and be discontinued as the previous decades appropriately concluded.

look more crap killed more people from the 650 nuclear bombs tested on the surface of the planet, that shit goes up and comes down, in grandma's cabbage patch. we been eating the crap for years,

Nuke powerplants are safe if the government pay people to work in them, not leave them to monkeys

When where A-Plants left to be manned by monkeys ? Also the A-tests residue is long gone from the planet only a few micrograms of material is still generating radiations the rest has gone dull . Hell , reports from the Chernobyl are show that nature has made a huge comeback

Chernobyl is far from settled or even half way safe.

Who works at the sites definitely matters and safety over profit would conceivably make a difference.
