Hello, I've got a webhosting related blog ( http://www.artofwebhosting.com ), and maybe I'm crazy, but I'd like to give honest reviews to my readers about hosting companies and their services. So this is why I'd like to ask You to help me and tell me what you think about Hostgator and it's service (no matter whether you're a currently using their service, or you've moved your sites from them to another company). Sooo what do you think about Hostgator?
Hostgator is good with the CJ affiliate link but due to the credit card verification makes the promotion is not seems to be right. Hostgator are the top reseller for the ThePlanet.com Sometimes they put too many websites in one server
It's not an affiliate marketing blog, its for future customers. So if you were a customer of Hostgator, or you're still a customer at this company than please share your oppinion about their service. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts pipsbank.
I think most people will agree that Hostgator is good for simple websites and websites low requirements but not adequate (especially in support) for higher end requirements. Check the Hosting Section of this forum as well as webhostingtalk.com for more reviews
I love them Dedis are awsome, not sure about the shared though Their support is amazing and they really know what they're doing
I think Hostgator is overhyped. Maybe it is because of their affiliate program, but it's true they are somewhat cheap and reliable, but there are tons of other web hosts just as good, but with more features. I'm thinking yahoo, that offers unlimited space and bandwidth for the same price of Hostgator's Baby plan (after applying Yahoo's coupon, which lowers the price from $11.95 to $7.77
