Most of the people visiting gaming sites are young and therefore don't have money to spend. Also the people visiting game sites are there to play games and not to click on ads therefore you get very few clicks on your ads. And to make matters even worse, there are way too many game sites, so the supply of ad space far out weighs the demand for the ad space, so the clicks that you do get are worth next to nothing.

Game sites are fun to work on but don't expect to make much money for the work you put into them. If you want to make money find a different niche.

I think the competition is too high, to see any progress in your efforts it would take at least a year I would imagine.

Best business is the business that doesn't exist yet ;)
Create something where you are interested in, and where you think you can create something new on the web.

You can make money in many online business, but just because you set up a gaming site or any other site doesn't mean you will make money. Making money takes a lot of time, effort, and money. If you don't have none of that then you will need to rethink.

The hardest part is getting the traffic to the site as there is so many sites competing for your traffic that it can be rather hard sometimes. Once your site grows, it becomes much easier then as long as you keep updating your site.

    Good luck.
