Design and layout are decent enough, but the header text blends too well with the background, it should stand out more
Your site theme is good but change your site background. site look like any black&white picture. I like your header. Just change you background color if possible like using gray color. Its just my opinion I am not professional in that. Ask to others also. Your site theme is really good.
I like the simplicity of the site. I mean, we're there for the quotes, not a bunch of fluff. I think its good.
Personally I don't like the header. It's too big if you ask me. Try integrating the title with that filmstrip in some way...
