As I can notice crappy LLLL.coms are no more increasing in prices , I wonder what will be in next 6 month . My prediction is that they will worth around 60-80$ like now or maybe even less. The reason is that crappy llll.coms are being traded only between domainers , I mean that end user sales are very very rare as it's hard to find an available acronym or any meaning for domain such as kjxy.com ( no offence to owner it's just an example ) . As for me I think that it's better to invest some money in NNNNN.coms as the prices for them already start to rise in these days

    What do you think ?

I think they have a limited future personally, like you say they are just been traded between domainers. Premium LLLLs.com will rise quite a bit though.

I also have some crappy llll.coms but I think you can still get some end users from others countries like china where QZX are not uncommon.

I took a random sample of 100 LLLL's and looked to see whether they were developed sites or not. A decent number of the sites were developed, and a surprising number were Chinese sites with "bad" letters. If you want to see the list you can see it here.

I hope to look at a few more samples so that the numbers are statistically sound.

    • '.Com' is king, and every letter is popular in at least one or two major countries.
    • Markets always tend to 'pull back a bit' when people cash in their profits.
If you can afford it, this is probably a great time to buy more LLLL.com's (even the 'crappy' ones)

I just bought a few, i think they have great potential. Many people thought crap 3 letters were worth nothing which proved to be wrong. Regardless of if you can develop a site on them or not, i think they will increase in value by domain collectors.

    * Yes, people who are impatient or need cash are selling now (including me, if I can make a quick profit)
    * I think 'smart money' is still buying LLLL.com's (including me, when they are cheap enough)

But even on this forum I can see that LLLL.com is not as popular as it was for about 2 weeks ago , first time I'm seeing thread with BIN price 50$ for LLLL.com

and what about NNNNN.coms I see that prices have tend to rise

Yes, some people are cashing in their profits.
    * Buyers have a chance to get good prices before they head higher again.
    * Bull markets, manias, and 'price bubbles' do not end this quickly.

    • The way to make (easy) money is not buying for $75 three weeks ago, when it seemed certain prices were heading higher fast.
    • Grab them now, even though there is some risk they go a bit lower.

BTW: Web 2.0 is not over yet. :)

I think that there is definetly a future for all LLLL.coms. I do agree that the majority of selling of the anti-premiums is between domainers. And I also say that if we do see a decrease in value it is only because the 3L and 4L.coms sales have sparked alot of interest in "limited domains" and people are now investing more money in new registrations of 5L, L-LL, LL-L, 5N.coms and more short domains, thus limiting the amount of money they have to buy names in the aftermarkets. Only time will tell.

I'm predicting that bad LLLL.com's will raise in price by around $50 within the next year, and even more for good LLLL.com's.

Lol maybe I'm not as optimistic as you are :)
I think that the price will stuck at 50-60$ next threee month , and after that I've no clue

I never thought they would go up in price. They are crap in my opinion still just being driven up by speculation. I could have got 100+ LLLL.com with bad letters for a little over reg fee about 8 months ago but past. Nobody would touch them at that time but it looks like that would have been a good buy :(.

Well I've never thought that too , but almost in a 3 month after all LLLL.coms were bought prices jumped from 10-15 to 40-50 . However now the situation is different
