What do you think about contabo and altinsoft VPS Service?

    Hello,

    I bought a VPS host from godday, but I'm thinking about moving to one of these VPS service (contabo.com or altinsoft.net) their plan price and the host space is much better than godaddy. Have anyone tried them before?

    Never heard about that hosts. What are your specs demands? Maybe we could suggest you more reliable options to make a proper choice?

    I want a VPS to build a streaming server (with normal traffic). Storage at least 400 GB and 2 or 4 MB RAM and affordable price, the both companies have these specifications but I'm not sure about the service itself.

    Don't know either company, but I personally would avoid Altinsoft for no other reason than the fact that they use OVH for their datacenter. OVH has a horrible network, horrible support, and regular issues. They are a bargain-basement datacenter.

    Please do not try Contabo. They can shut down your server for 8 hours when you get a big traffic and request 30 EUR for unsuspend by ridiculous reasons. Also they charged 40 EUR per bank transfer although you already paid transfer fees.

    We have 10+ servers at Contabo and now hardly working to migrate another DC. We will never work with them.

    Looks quite strange why they charge for a VPS setup fee, which is the same amount as a dedicated server build requires...
    No reputable hosting provider charges fee to setup a VPS. Be careful.

    I have been using Contabo for almost a year what I noticed that there is lac of support and if you get downtime its hard to communication them

    @mrweb Contabo oversell their servers and the network is very bad, but i don't know about another provider you mentioned.

    I will suggest ONLINE.NET , here you can get affordable server for streaming. They have very good network.
