    Are you from Afghanistan and/or do you live there? I think of poverty, heroin, and terrorism because this is what you see most of the time when a report on Afghanistan is on.

    Nevertheless, I've heard that there are regions (especially near Turkey) that are safe to visit and have a beautiful landscape.

    Yeah you are right I'm from Afghanistan and Everything you are saying is absolutely wrong!.
    It was before but now everything is alright in Afghanistan and maybe you know there are a lot of Americans too.

    The education system is going up day by day. Afghanistan won International U19cup of cricket. Afghanistan women football team won the Womens world cup,
    Now Afghanistan is the most beautiful Muslim country of World and I'm proud to be Afghani,:))))

    I have lots of Afghanistan friends and they are pretty cool people. It is just the ignorant ones that want to make trouble and cause havoc.

    I've never been there before.. so I don't know so much about your country.. What I know is, Afghanistan is very related to my country, Indonesia, because many Indonesian people are moslems too. :)

    OP Afghanistan is a beautiful place as it is described over the net. Just look beyond the guns, bombs and people. It is a very naturalistic place with mountains all over the country. I would love to visit some day for mountain trekking. ;)
