What do you suggest to brighten up this site please

Im looking for some ideas to put a little life/color into this image hosting site what do you suggetst.

Easier said that done but I would work on the user interface. The current header image and fonts on it don't really give the best first impression.

Something between the second and third options.

 

the design is ok , but it can be much better. try something Web 2.0 style!

Browse some template sites for inspiration--looks very amatuerish right now. Might consider buying a professionally designed template--they can be very reasonable.

Hi there,
I am giving you friendly suggestions, I am not an expert in user interface testing, but I am hereby writing what I felt.
1. You can reduce the height of the image in the header
2. Divide and arrange the image in header in parts (looking into current image I can say that you can divide it in 3 parts) currently its looking like messed up
3. The "Welcome" text along with "Login | Register" links is not visible properly, darken the color used for this text
4. Keep vertical gap between textboxes
5. Keep horizontal gap between textbox and Browse button
all the above points are related to homepage
still I am going through your site, I will let you know about the suggestion, if any.

For a quick easy solution, just add some more colour and fix the margins.

I would either center the graphics or make them expand to full width.
