    tld means top level domains.. like labnol.org not easyearningbyhome.blogspot.com . 2nd one is not top level domain.

    i would see the name/word before buying a domain because now a days its not possible to get new domain with your required word or name as all good names are already booked by someone. if the name is good and related to your business, you can work on the site and make it popular quickly.
