    Hello All DP-ers,

I have a friend in India & he's asked me a question. Plz let answer the questions.

    1. He is from India & has quite a few number of softwares to sell from his website.

    2. He needs to know which payment service to integrate, which will take buyers' credit cards online and the buyers will be able to purchase the softwares online using their credit cards.

    3. What he is speaking of is a services like iBill.com which are mostly used by adult websites and like 2Checkout.com or GoogleCheckout (?). These are all paid services and perhaps takes a % from each purchase.

    4. My friend in India needs a service which is a) the best b) free c) and money can be withdrawn easily.

    5. If you refer a service like XYZ then how does XYZ sends money to the owner of the website ? i.e. what are the options of withdrawing money ? PayPal Or Direct Bank-To-Bank transfer (Wire-Transfer) Or WesternUnion ?

As most of the DP-ers deal with domains and websites, so you should have something on sale on your websites, so plz let us know about the queries above.

Any input from you will be much appreciated.

    Tnx...

    I would not recommend 2CO.

I had an experience with them recently as a customer to a web site. I was not happy at all. Here are the boring details...

I went to a web site and attempted to make a purchase of $200. The next day, the merchant contacted me and said that 2CO had identified the purchase as fraudulent. They actually forwarded me the original email, and sure enough, there was 2CO basically accusing me of being a scammer.

Now, being a regular internet consumer (I spend at least $1,000 per month in online purchases), I can tell you exactly what the problem was. It is that I travel abroad extensively for work, and in fact, have not been in the US for a year now, but that is where all of my credit card billing goes back to. So I have billing address in the US, but the IP address on my web browser is from Asia, so there is a conflict.

I encounter this problem routinely most any time I try to use a credit card online. Usually what happens is that the merchant will contact me and ask me to submit id and a copy of a utility bill for proof of address. Sometimes they will ask for a copy of the card, sometimes they do not. No matter what they ask for, I always comply instantly as soon as I receive the request, as all of this is readily available to me. Once I comply, the order is processed and fulfilled, no big deal.

Did 2CO do this? No, they did not. There was no attempt made to verify any information, nor did they even tell me there was a problem, they just declined the order. A very amateur way of doing things, in my opinion.

Not to mention that all they ask for is the 3 digit code on the back of the card. This is not the 1990s - both Mastercard and Visa have real time verification processes that this company fails to take advantage of.

Anyway, my experiences as a consumer were not good, and in the future, if all a site offers is 2CO then I will not waste my time, I will go elsewhere. I recommend that merchants do the same. Take your business to a company that will treat your customers with professionalism and respect. How about znpay.com?
