What do you recommend?

So i am a senior in my high school and have always been interested in affiliate marketing.

I have tried some MLM programs, but i feel that affiliate marketing is where i can be most succesful.

My question is where do i begin? I have used paydotcom.com and advertised the products their, i have only used craigslist, because its free and 400 hits later i have made 2 sales leading me to 50 bucks. Is there a better way to approach this?

So far i really like this forum, good place to get GREAT info, but sometimes it is a lot to take in.

Thanks for any help and advice you can give,
    Steven

I can recommend you to Join MoreNiche and read the Beginner Guide and the Marketing E-Books there.

They will give you some good directions on the start. You can always choose another Affiliate Program later, but MoreNiche looks like it is the best place for beginners.

Yup, MoreNiche would be great to start. MoreNiche is really newbie-friendly. They have a forum, recently setup a blog and have threads dedicated entirely to making your first sale.

If you need a product recommendation from them, here's a thread of mine.

Or, if I already got you on my side, click the first or second link in my signature to join! :)

    Good luck!

with all these things that you are suggesting, do they cost anything for like a membership. I really dont have a lot, thats why i liked using paydotcom.com and craigslist because i made 2 sales that didnt cost me a thing. Aswell i dont have a website of my own, just been using barious affiliate links. I will keep checking out the various sites you guys reccomend

You don't pay anything at MoreNiche, it's all free. They just help you to start making sales. This is the way they will make money too :)

And you also don't need to have a website. You can just use your affiliate links to make some sales.

I'm a senior as well, but in COLLEGE, not high school :)

I remember starting back when I was still in high school, made some bucks with the autosurfs and mlm programs back then. However, it's the affiliate programs that provided the residual income up to this very day.

If you'd like to talk more about it, just message me your chat messenger ids and I'd do my best to help you.

Their is definitely many ways to achieve success especially with affiliate programs. You are on the right track though. Combination of affiliate programs and Craigslist, and you can easily earn more than what you are earning. Find a good high payout program. I suggest going with business opportunities in which you can earn a minimum of $35/Sale. You do not have to belong to an affiliate network such as paydots. In my opinion I have found higher payouts for those offering affiliate programs that are not part of an affiliate network. If you want to go down that route though, you can even try Commission Junction at www.cj.com, shareasale and a few others. But keep doing what you are doing, you just need to figure out something that will sell on CL, and let me tell you that it is definitely work at home business opportunities. Go from their and you can easily pull in an extra 400 - 500 week working 20 - 25 hours.

Your best bet to make good money online is to have your own website. I can recommend a program that will set you up a website for free, you only have to supply the domain.
