What do you recommend to promote Duplicate Content Detection Tool?

I have launched a FREE Plagiarism Checker for a while, http://www.percentdupe.com/. It is great for writers I think, but I still not promote it heavily.

Today, I would like to write a thread to share this tool with you, also would like to get some idea from you on how to promote this service.

it's simple, just bid the keyword 'copyscape' on adwords, and make your title something like 'copyscape alternative',

create some "this content is protected against duplication" gadget that webmasters add to their site that would refer to your site (just like PR check websites do)

 

I 'd recommend advertise it on article directories maybe, as it's article writers that go there and maybe they're interested.

Seems to work well. That's a good product people won't mind blogging about. If I owned it I would contact SEO and webmaster blog owners via email or contact form, tell them about your site and ask if you could do a guest post about plagiarism and link ti your site. Start at the top of the bloggers and work downward. I bet you get a great response.

 

I had been using http://www.dustball.com/cs/plagiarism.checker/ but it is always good to have an alternative.
