What do you recommend for learning SEO

I want to learn more about SEO and have seen tons of comments on this forum, but what would the best way for me to learn the right methods?

recommended sites/books/blogs etc. that I can read through to learn how to optimize my sites?

any tips are much appreciated

A beginners guide to SEO is a good place to start.

- there is no definative approach. I believe in a multiple resource approach...

 

Just test, test and test.

Read SEO blogs, participate on forums, read all that guides, listen to WM radio and again test, test and test.

A great, and very popular commercial eBook would be 'SEOBook'. I read it a year or so back and it is indeed a very good, quality SEO book; highly recommended from me.
