Hey everyone, While I have some free time on my hands I thought I would try and help out a few people on the boards at the moment. So the question lies, what do you need help with? Yours, Laura_D
Hey Rhin, Just in general, at the moment I have some free time so if you need anything explained or help with anything let me know and I will see what I can do for you.
Hi Laura, Another UK ClickBanker! Keywords lol... I understand what they do, and how they work.. im a little baffled on the optimisation side, and choosing good ones. Im making a few sales here or there, and getting plenty of PPC clicks, but maybe there not direct enough for the product.. i dunno.. it just confuses me abit lol
Hey PHAZ, Do some testing of this, it was a trick that a friend of mine told me to try. Basically what you do is bid on the name of the product that you are promoting so lets say you promote google nemesis, well bid on nemesisgoogle joined up buy back to front you will pay very little for the clicks and still make sales. Also do you send your visitors straight to the website or to a landing page? I find that it is best to always send to a landing page so that you can offer the visitor a bonus plus you can start to build your list so that even if that visitor doesnt buy first time or from you then you still have the email address to follow up on and further promote to them down the line. Yours, Laura_D
Thanks. They are currently being sent straight to the publishers sales page. I was considering landing pages, but does this mean I need a new one for every product? It seems like i'll be spending too much on Adwords, and domains! If I was to drop the product im promoting, thats a loss. I guess its not that easy to get a general domain e.g. productcomparison.com or something similar, and create a differnent page for each product I promote? Thanks, Ashley
You could use a review domain and then use a sub domain for each product if you follow me. The benefit of the landing page is you can track everything and also have the opportunity to start building your own list that you can market to over and over again. An example one marketer that I know was able to make $27,000 average from one email that he sent out to his list of around 5000
Hey Laura I saw your welcome thread and it looks like you are pretty good at Affiliate Marketing. I own a Recreational Drug Blog and I am wondering if you have any tips for me related to affiliate marketing for that site. I don't have much traffic, any tips?
Sure, what he did was to build up his own opt-in list and then start to build a good relationship with those people that had opted into his list. When he had people in his list he give them huge amounts of content ranging from free guides, tutorials, free videos he didnt bombard them with offer and offer of buy this buy that or they would have unsubscribed. He recommended various products but only when he had a good relationship with his list. The $27,000 cam from only 404 people who bought out of his list of 5000 at a price of $67 which made the $27,000. He only promotes affiliate products twice a month and the rest he emails stories, guides and free content which keep his list active. This is why you always hear people saying the money is in the list, you can practically make cash on demand. Yours, Laura_D
