you take the job and make a commitment that you can write it and deliver within a certain time. this time period is the turn around time.

"Turnaround Time" refers to the amount of time the contracted work can be completed and subsequently delivered to the buyer. For instance, you ordered 20 unique high quality 250+-word articles from me, and I quoted you for $.025/word with a 6-day turnaround time (4 days for production and 2 days for quality assurance purposes). This means you can expect all 20 articles to be delivered 6 days after the start of the 20-article project. The start of a project is often confirmed via a 50% up front payment (for new buyers), a full advance payment (for repeat buyers), or any other payment agreement. I hope this answers your question.

Turnaround time: The time between the placement of an order and delivery.

If you tell a client that the 'turnaround time' is four days for ten articles, it means you are going to deliver the ten completed articles in four days.
