A page is indexed when it is found by google and other search engines.

You can check whether you site is indexed by going to google and searching the phrase "site:example.com" if you get no results, then your website is not indexed yet.

The best way to get indexed is to start building more links to your website.

Any site that has a PR>0 would be considered trustworthy to google.

It will get even confusing later, Rap, when you realize that some of your pages are listed in Google's Main Index and others have been listed in the Secondary Index. Keep writing good content and practice good SEO, linkbuilding etc and hopefully most of your pages will get indexed in the main.
    Good luck!
