"PayPal Users: You are required to enter your full name and valid mailing address into your account profile for verification purposes in order to receive a PayPal payment." Can the party sending the money really check? I am just curious because I think when I initially received payment from them, I didn't even have a Paypal account. I only opened the account after getting an email from Paypal that someone sent me money. And when I sent payment to people in the past, I only entered their email address in the payment process. Is there a way to check the name and address of the party receiving the money before sending?
Hi DaveAtom, With PayPal email payments the sender only needs the recipient's email address. They do not need to have your name or your mailing address. There is no way of checking the recipient's name and mailing address. Of course it is still depends what you were signing up for when you saw "PayPal Users: You are required to enter your full name and valid mailing address into your account profile for verification purposes in order to receive a PayPal payment." Hope that helps.
He can send money to you even if you don't have a PAYPAL account. After he sent the money, you must register an account with the email address he used to send the money to you to claim it. They require you to fill in a verification code which they will send you by mail.yes, you can check his name & whether he/she comes from the US
