What criteria do you use when getting Blog links
-Free blog or blog on domain?
-whether any PR. Would you pay for PR0 blog links?
    -Age ?
    -Backlinks?
    -Others?
    :)

Well for me I check if the topic of discussion interests me.The Pr usually doesn't count here as I get free links by just quality commenting.Others I don't care enough to be said here

Relevancy is key for me. It doesnt make sense to have a link from a real estate blog to a dog clothes site.

I agree with wiwi. Relevancy. PR doesn't matter. Today's PR0 site could be tomorrow's PR5 site and the reverse is true also

Top Commentator widget, if you can get on the top commentator list you will have a lot of backlinks over a lot of pages.

Jason, does those top commentator widget backlinks counted by Google too ? because when I search for Yahoo backlinks it shows me all those backlinks(including some of nofollow too) but Google doesn't show me.

google and yahoo don't treat 'nofollow' the same. In fact, half the time, GOOGLE doesn't treat nofollow the same.

The niche should be the first thing. It is better to choose a blog which suits our niche so that the backlink would be worthy.

For me it's relevance, age, and the amount of backlinks the blog has.

I always looks for relevancy though rest of the thinks are plus point if you got a backlinks from high pr page, do follow. But it is better to get relevant backlink from relevant page.

What I go for is niche . If it is related to my niche than it is my good luck but if it is from other niche than i don't get any benefit from it .

I would pay for an link on a pr 0 blog.

I am interesting in getting visitors.
And if the price is ok, sure, why not.

    Cheers

What I look for in backlinks is quality of content, but only if it passes the "same niche" requirement :)
I wouldn't mind exchanging links with new blogs with quality content ;)
