What do you look for in an article writer and his/her sample work?

I am interested in doing some online ghost writing and PLR.

What does everyone here look for in the writing of potential article writers they are interested in using (besides price)? How many words do you expect to see in a sample content piece? Do you expect the use of specific keywords or key phrases to make up a certain percentage of each article? What are some example topics you would be happy to see discussed in writing samples?

Any honest feedback answering these questions would be greatly appreciated.

About 350 words should be enough, using correct percentage of keyword according to the length of your article also is a big plus.

The questions you asked with regards to what is expected in an article depends entirely on the niche you're in.

The two biggest things that you need to remember though are the following:

    1. Readable and Understandable English Grammar
If you have average grammar, you won't be making as much as you can. Good American grammar is the ideal trait that most internet article buyers look for so read up on that if you want to polish your skills.

    2. SEO
Most of the buyers you'll be getting will want their articles optimized for certain keywords. Learn how to write articles that both make sense to the reader and are optimized for the search engines.
