What do you look for in a PLR pack?

    Any of the following

    • Auto responder sets?
    • Small Reports?
    • e-courses?
    • Article Packs?

How many of each and what lengths?

And what niches are you interested in?

I am sure everyone want original well written content!

    Thanks

No two people will have the same answer. Everyone wants content in their own niches. Also, understand that PLR isn't "original content" in the eyes of the buyer. ;)

I sold business-oriented PLR packs a while back and they did well enough for me (although I admittedly didn't market them as much as I could have). What I learned (other than that I don't want to write PLR content anymore lol) is that people are willing to pay a bit of a premium if you're an expert in your niche, and that the ones who can make it worth your while income-wise care more about the number sold than the price. You'll see sets here where people sell hundreds of articles for a few dollars. I believe I was selling them in sets of 5 or 10 articles, and at $2 per article, which is much more than most PLR content I was seeing available. More people will be willing to pay that if you sell to fewer people - in the end though, make sure you have enough overall earning potential per article to adequately cover your writing and marketing time.

So the question is less about what everyone is looking for, and more "what do you know?" Write in your specialty (or get one if you don't have one yet), and you'll have an easier time making real money from PLR writing.

I think it ultimately has to do with how many buyers are involved. After researching it, for all of my PLR packs (a variety of niches), I decided to only sell to 30 buyers....and that seems like a fair amount, for all parties....for what I put into it, I think it will be worth the time, after they are gone however, not sure I'll be doing PLR packs, maybe ebooks, we'll see.

    Hope this helps.

Aren't 30 copies of the same product considered dup content?

The idea is that you will either use the PLR content for newsletter content or for a purpose where uniqueness isn't a requirement or that you will alter them significantly so that they will be viewed as original content by search engines. This is one reason you will see many people seeking people to rewrite articles.
