filthypanda.com? It's current empty (nothing on the site) Out of 10 how do you rate it? Should I sell it? Or keep it? How do I go about selling it for the highest price and safest way if I do decide to sell it?
I agree - it depends what you plan on doing with it. If you plan on flipping it to an end user I would say 1...That name is most likely not going to sell to an end user. If you plan on developing it yourself into something and then selling it I might rank it a 3..depends what you plan on developing it into.
I would have to give it a 1.5 It really seems to have no redeeming value or use. People usually don't spend money under the banner of "filthy" and people that usually like pandas like them because they are cute and soft not "filthy"
I beg to differ on this point. Cute Pandas and soft Pandas are so common. It "might" not catch the attention of users. However, if you have something like FilthyPanda.com with some interesting content, i am sure it will be a hit. I googled and saw few results/blogs with the term "Filthy Panda". Probably OP can try contacting them and getting it sold. Else, Filthy panda can be used for selling customized items with Panda in it (like customized Panda printed t-shirts, photos, lamps)
As long as there are no TM issues, then why not (registered or otherwise - I don't know who originally came up with it, but you could start by asking Genki Gear). There are the filthy panda t-shirts (as featured on The IT Crowd). In fact, this could be a blog/forum for the cult show and sell merchandise via it (either directly or affiliate). As long as you can overcome any legal issues, then this has potential for doing well. In particular, girls/women like pandas and related fashion. This is something that could be targeted at either gender - for girls/women because it's cute and men because it's a bit "rude".
LOL, kind of harsh, but I also agree. It is worthless unless you make something out of it. Nobody is going to look up "filthy panda" out of the blue unless they knew it represented something like a brand, company, website, blog, etc.
Yeah. It is a brandable name so it has worth, but not the kind that porn.com or anything in that nature would have off the beat. Check out bored panda on google, that domain started worthless, now it is a really viral site. The domain isn't as important as it once was, it is all about your marketing, and what you can do with it. I have plenty of ideas for a name like that, it is your job as the webmaster to make it profitable. If you are good enough, you can have a domain named "don't buy this crap" and still rake in revenue.
If you could get video footage of drunk pandas doing mud wrestling, I'm sure it would be a smash! Otherwise, not sure how many people are searching for filthy panda. if you can get something like cleanpanda or shinypanda, you might be able to sell bear shampoo
