    no, its not. YABB is a perl forum, flat file database. SMF uses php and mysql, faster, sleeker. nothing againt YABB. if it wasn't for YABB, SMF would have never been born.

    I installed it and uninstalled it Id rather stick to SMF its more feature rich and robust, imagine you can access it using a phone with internet. BTW Im creating my first site so I can play around with these things for now, but it looks like Im going to settle with SMF
