What do you guys think of my website's design?

I think they already have pointed out what I'm about to say as well.

I think let's just say you kinda have a different way (if not weird) of looking at things. That's just my opinion.

 

Then what is it about? It doesn't seem to be about ANYTHING -- the text slapped in the page any old way includes terms like "jacking off" -- you even made that a keyword.

I don't know what the blue blazes you are even trying to accomplish by having this site, it's almost like two Alzheimer's patients that used to direct porn in the 70's incoherent ramblings were slapped together on a page by a psych ward patient with MPD. It is incoherent rambling about christmas only knows what -- NONE of your content seems to have anything to do with anything else around it...

"It's supposed to be everything" -- here's a tip, that usually is a BAD way to try and make a website since the net result looks like an episode of "hoarding, buried alive".

 

I wish you would stop beating around the bush and tell everyone what you really think.

 

Trust me, that is the watered down version.

 

At first look I had no idea what the site was about. After about 6 seconds of looking around I just gave up.

 

It's interesting, and obviously a lot of care went into it but I think you need to realize that less is more. It's a bit crazy, fire everywhere, a whole lot going on. Maybe tone it down a bit?

 

I am going to slowly but steadily try to make it look more like deviantart , but with my intended content. Im not into using cms , but perhaps I might try to revise my work using a cms , I just have an aweful feeling that the few keywords I do rank for will no longer bring me any traffic. I can try to tone it down a little, but I suck with mobile css. The trick right now is a rescale technique , which I admit , kind of sucks. Can anyone help me revise my "news and events" ticker? Since you are all such experts , I think you can help me make a rss feed aggregation with a thumbnail like msn or yahoo? That would be a great start, I think. If you go to my source code, you will note that so far you can go to "snippet: true and change it to false", you will see that my rss aggregator shows full posts. I need serious help, I just cant find any tutorials or help since Im not exactly rich.

 

Man, i must honestly say that i was stuck in the ears by the Harlem Shake and i HAD TO close it fast.

This is the crux of the matter:

You haven't a clue to what the site's about. That leaves you throwing, um, shtuff at the wall to see what will stick.

That is the single most common reason for site designs or sites, to fail. Look at the least stylish page on the web, craigslist.org; if not the ugliest, it's a close second. Yet, it is one of the top 100 visited sites in the world. Why? Because it has purpose and the purpose is one that people want. Don't think it isn't well designed though. It is clear about its content and it's easy for anyone to use. As ugly as it is, it is extremely well designed.

 

Quite frankly it was one of the most annoying website i have stumbled upon since the rick rolling days,
re do and do right!

I will redo it in a style like deviantart maybe. I just have focused too much on html and php and I really only know basics of css

 

I don't bother with Dreamweaver and I do just fine.

Design Changed! Please, what are your new opinions?

 

the sidebar and the footer not being organized well. the main of the site is making the feel that its disconnected and far more on the right. Menu bar too simple not attractive and fonts should be more visible. or may be its due to the color you have selected for the background...needs overhauling for the design.

 

I will see what I can do. This will be my universal website design for the moment.

 

I'd say nothing special (my opinion only), i think you should change the concept of the website or try another theme, perhaps.
