What do you guys think of my ad placements?

I recently starting putting add on my new site and want to know if these are optimum positions for my ad placement. Any suggestions?

i think you can change the ad in the posts of your forum, and make it bigger. a 336xXXX is great for this. also i would recommend to show this ad just to people who are not registered in your forum. also in this ad, you have the links in blue. if you use the same color as your posts titles (black/grey) maybe you can get a much better ctr.

 

wow.. you mean I should use 336 x 280 inside the posts. I think thats way big. I also heard from other people that blue is better color for ad links. I am not saying you are wrong, but can you explain how they are optimum?

bigger ad = bigger CTR
blue is better, if you can change your colors theme to titles in blue.

 

Its not like blue color is the best for ads. It depends upon your site theme. Always keep the ad color's title same as your site links has. If you site links color is red then keep the title of the ads in red. Because people know that the red color on your site is a link.

 

my site is using default blue color for links. So, blue color for ad links is the best choice?
