you're telling it like it is...all these (insert number here) figure marketers are full of $h1t...

they are claiming they earn a lot of money but once you dissect their sites it turns out you have higher traffic than they do...

what do you call that...? Liars...

copper - how about this why. Why not instead of questioning every sentence about Mike, you'd actually try to do research about what kind of success he has got? You seem intelligent chap, I wonder if you could use that to try & found info about Mike's success and then report back what good stuff you received?

Or... are you so sure that he is a liar & and believe there's not a single thing that could have generated money to him that you are not up to to the job? :D

(yes, this is a bit of a trolly challenge ;))

    HI

Where has mike been since there are more and more posts like this here lately in the forum.

He use to jump on posts like this...

And I do Agree Mike sends out a lot of emails to his lists but then again it is his lists and you can always opted out from his lists..

But I do see the side of the people posting in this thread..

Maybe when you get to big you forget where you came from.

    Thx
    Tom

Some people raise the point they get more traffic than people like Mike, but what are your conversion rates like? You could have eveyone in the world logging onto your site everyday, if its not converting and they're not buying, then what good is that?

Yeah, I think he does make money and I think he knows what he's doing, even though he seems to under-deliver on free quality content.

This thread has promted me to have an unsubscribe day! There are a ton of marketers at the moment just pushing aff offers but not offering any real or useful content.

    Thank you!

Well, there's at least one poster who uses his brain other than to fill the space between his ears.

Game Producer - how about this: Why not instead of posting about how great a particular webmaster, "guru" is, you actually try to FIRST do research about what kind of success he has got? Instead of listening to other comments from other noobs, kids, making it appear like he is really something.

Like the ones here, who can't even give examples, samples from his work on WHY he is so good.

I wonder if you could try that, & find info about this guy's "success," and then report back what good stuff you received?

Or... are you so sure that he really is something and that you are not up to the job?

(yes, this is a bit of a empty-headed noob challenge ;))

See how I worked that? :D

And, please, give it a rest on the first name basis ("Mike"), as if you know him.

    ugh.

copper12 - nah, no interest for that. I know Yaro Starak has spoken good words about Mike Filsaime, and I've read & used Yaro's stuff and think he is genuine guy. If he thinks Mike has good stuff, then my ears are open.

(and like said earlier, I have no interest to dig any info about Mike right now- it's not like I'm currently signing up or buying anything from him, so it's just waste of time for me... I'll dig the info if/when I need it.)

I think Mike's a brilliant marketer, even if I do wish he would give more content.

I do notice, though, that he seems to be able to create controversy by doing nothing more than sending promotions, keeping his name in front of his target audience (us) almost constantly. Interesting...

It's funny Mke Filsaime just got banned for porn on one of his domains. Kind of an interesting story. Check it out here: http://blog.seorevolution.com/2009/03/14/nudity-pornography-warning-from-opendns-butterfly-marketing/

He may have bought the first two or three guys who commented after the first post, dont care to know their names, cos he said in one of his crappy ebooks that he got people around all the forums who watch out for posts about him and will defend him in case any "lazy marketer" as he calls them fails and start exposing his crooked ass.

I don't have ill feelings about any internet marketers who are self proclaimed gurus and none with Mike Filsaime. He seems to have come up with a lot of great ideas and know how to sell them well.

When looking at his photos though, he looks like one of those car salesman that will just keep pushing you to buy even if he knows the product isn't worth the money he's selling for. At least, he looks very professional in the photos I've seen included in his sales pages. Nothing turns me off more than photos on sales letter websites that has some odd guy smoking a cigar or a really old shot that looked like it was taken in the 90's before the digital camera era.
