What do you guys think of .asia domains?

    I've been buying domains here and there and I just got FlyBy.asia

    Any opinions on that? I'm inexperienced, so I was wondering are .asia extensions worth anything at all?

    If you are the end user and you see the potential in it, then yes its worth buying. But as for the domain business kind of thing , .asia market seems to be negligible.

    Right now I don't think there is much value in it. But your domain sounds good for a traveling company in Asia or something.

    If it's Asian related then I see no harm in using it for any type of site. As far as ranking goes, Google doesn't prefer any certain type of general extension. Though country codes may make a difference. However, I don't know if .asia would rank better in Asian nations though.

    They are been provided free by some registrars. But No interest of peoples in them. ;)
