Ive been getting spam comments mainly from two guys:

The first one has a site that reviews online casinos, poker rooms and bingo sites so he spams every single site he reviews. The second one has a blog that sells cheap viagra and generic medicines. Both left their email addresses when they left the comments but had different emails on their sites: (the mail on their comments where at gmail and yahoo and the mail on their sites where contact@theirsite..). So, as im fed up of this spammers that dont really think because their messages are like

    <strong>Cheap Viagra</strong> Buy generic medicine
    Code (markup):
or things like that so no webmaster would approve that sort of things but well..

I took the time and subscribe the 4 email addresses to 150 daily, weekly and monthly newsletters from different sites.

What do you think? Have i done the right thing? What would you do in my place?

    Thanks, fuser

Well, I think it's kind of useless. The e-mails they use probably don't exist, and if they do these are just subscription e-mails, i.e. the ones you use to get into directories, etc.
A better measure is to simply contact their hosts. Much more efficient :)

Install some anti-spam measures for comments? Or simply disable comments if you have no other way (Or if you're lazy.)
