I have run into this problem for the first time. I have three domains which link to hosting which is a pretty big package, I only just registered it but I don't need it anymore. I also have this other domain linked to a slightly smaller hosting package which I don't need either. I didn't buy them at a lofty price, despite the packages being excellent from my normal hosting company which I also purchase my domain from, so I do not intend to charge a high price if I sell it either. I guess someone could take benefit more from the hosting, or use the domain for a testing website, who knows. Not sure what to do with it though or how to sell it. What have you done in the past if you've been through the same?
I usually try and sell it, or you can always give it away to a friend - or even just make something random on it, if your bored one day.
Would it be possible for me to ask people here to help me sell the domain (with hosting account)? I'm not sure of the best way to, and I want to recover the amount I paid for it or at least a fraction, and anything more than that made can be given to the person who helps me sell?

Either sell or rent them out. Alternatively, just park the domains. Do you have access to the DNS settings to it? or did they come with the hosting as a freebie?
May be you can trade it for something you need. Offering it as a prize for a contest too not a bad idea.
I have the settings, yes. The hosting came free with the domain, as they gave me a special offer (and not one off but every time I renew it).
you can post a thread about selling your domains and hosting on forums.. there is a special section on the most forums where you can do it..
yeah i would say if they have little value maybe give away to your list if you have one, or make a package deal and sell them. someone may want to use them.
