what do you do when your inbox is full to 92%

    hi, what does one do? download my messages as txt, then delete them?

    experienced dpers please advise, thanks.

    no advice is really needed

    save it as txt and eelte all or delete witohut saving

    He was referring to PMs I think.

    Download them and then empty then.

    Backup in more than 1 location, on more than 1 data source. :)

    Why not just go through them here on DP, tick the ones you don't need and delete them!

    I usually delete all the ones older than 2 weeks, but single out important ones

    He means all PM info is automatically saved in your gmail account,u can search any PM message,just need to remember the username or date.

    I'd search and delete non essential pm's. But it's better to download all of them first as a backup.

    I dont see why I should keep all the message. So I download the whole thing. I take 1-2 hour a week to manage my PMs and delete them.

    Not yet overwhelmed by so much spam PMs or mails so far. If so, I will delete all the PMs (unwanted ones) and in case of email, i am using the gmail; I will click delete all spam message option. ;)

    You should delete the messages you do not want and keep the important ones, I doubt you need to keep all those messages?

    Just download all messages into a text file...then empty your inbox and outbox. It's as easy as that. I do this regularly.
