    Look at somebody else who has a greater pain than yourself and you would feel that you are at least better as compared to somebody else and you have a positive look towards your life.. the pain would fade away..

    I try and make myself busy with work, reading some forum or news article to get over it and change my state of mind, but at times, it is difficult.

    I don't get that way often, but last year my dad passed away. I found that spending time with my animals (3 dogs, 2 goats, and 17 sheep) really helped. There's a calming peace about them.
