I would use the external adwords keyword tool, you can get it by typing "adwords keyword tool" into google, it will tell you the competition, avg cpc, searches, ad position etc. A very useful tool, however I can't help but wonder if it is bias sometimes.
Google adwords keyword tools is a bit inaccurate i guess..in terms of total query..it is a bit of too much sometimes... But it does provide cpc details which is very informative if you are finding good paying keywords..
Ok, thanks for the suggestions, it seems the suggestions are a little bit tailored to PPC is that correct? My main focus wants to be on Natural and Organic Search Engine Rankings, what are good tools for that?
No one will give you the accurate results in total search and all. All the tools are giving an draft results. You will do some research on it.
You can use Google AdWords tool to check the competitiveness of keyword. Another alternative option to check for the competitiveness of your keyword is to type the keyword in google search engine and check out for the search result no (Which gradually speaks about the no of websites targeting that particular keyword)...Higher the No higher will be the competitiveness of the keyword... Say the keyword "web" has ****search result no in Google...whereas the keyword "website design India" has *** search result no...So you can clearly figure it out from the no itself...that which one amongst the two is a competitive keyword...
just use google keywords and google trends. all you need is there _______________________________________________________________ YES WE CAN ! CHANGE WE NEED IN OTOPLASTIA depressão - psicologa - cirurgia intima - acne - espinhas - ponto g - abdominoplastia
I use the Google Adwords Tool to find how many searches there are, then I actually type the keyword phrases in Google to see how many page results there are. I target keywords that have less than 30,000 pages.
Type it in Google. Just mark how many sites are searchable when you click search. That's the competition. For example, when you typed "make money online", as of now there are over 125,000,000 search results. Definitely, it's a very very very tough competition there.
^ having been on the front page of "make money online" before, it wasn't really worth it. Much better, more profitable keywords around Personally: Step 1 - Do a google search for it. See if the competition is all trying to rank for that keyword (ie: pages designed for them) Step 2 - Search with adwords keyword tool to see how often its searched and any other alternatives Step 3 - Take a closer look at the ranking sites, starting with the bottom of the page. If it's easy to get on the front page, there isn't a lot of competition Yahoo site explorer helps a lot with this & backlink browsing
the keyword difficulty tool on seomoz works really well but I think its another one of there paid membership tools
