What do you do if you can't remember a friend's name?

i usually say, hey i forgot your surname. whats your full name again??

 

Say hi, and ask her name, or just avoid to talk about the name.

 

I'll tell her that I remember her face but can't get the name well it works.

 

If I can't remember names of my friend when I meet them for such a long time what I usually do is that I use endearment such as Dear or Inday , Ne , Girl ....

 

offer them your phone that you have set to "Add Contact" and ask them to put in their number. most phones ask for the name first so they would fill in their name too. just tell them your old phone fell in the loo and lost all contacts

 

It did not happen with me till yet. If occurs then i will contact his/her friend & ask whats the name of that friend ?

 

Yeah, I just own up to it and ask. It happens to the best of us. I also try not to get offended if someone forgets my name too. There's so many names!!!

 

I would straight away admin that i forgot.

 

yes , i once meet the such experience , and he said my name , but i never remember his name , so i only come home to find the ablums , and call my friends for this . you know this is not polite for him .
