I'm not sure if the question has ever been discussed here before. What is the best "title" for a directory owner? I've started a poll for the convenience of this thread... Your opinions are welcome!
Worker on the internet and websites owner is a WebMaster, so a directory owner can be called as Directory Master!
So, we gonna name every type of site owner differently? Like, Directory Owner, Video Site Owner, News Site Owner, Poker Site Owner? lolz .. seems pretty silly to me. Thats why old geeks make it one-size-fit-all word .. "webmaster" ... use it and don't waste your precious time in things like this.
That would make you a Disney Master No, seriously I don't think that is a good idea, but when we refer to a special market (eg for example directories) and start a thread about their owners, you cannot say webmasters, so you usually need to refer to the directory owners only, so the topic brings up a important point. Now I do not think the "correct" names are important, as you can call them whatever you wish to call them, editors, directory masters etc, all works just fine. Meti
I think you missed the point that people are having fun in the thread .. no one is taking it seriously. Are you? PS. Its silly idea, again.
You obviously don't own a directory . Have a little holiday spirit. I was actually thinking of something sweet and short I can refer to in a blog post title.
As far I've been: - custom officer - furniture company manager - movies language version translator - restaurant owner - 2 pubs owner - 4* hotel owner - guitarist - desktop software developer So I'm not greedy for any "title" as I had enough as far... And having few websites is nothing special in my life Creating some small scripts - nothing special again... But having good memories and friends all around - that's what I appreciate most! - D.
CEO, Webmaster etc. would do, editors are for going through submitted links. Though most of the new directories it is mainly the owner who does all the work.
