what do you call a brochure?

    Hi Guys,

    Been trying to post in a freelancer web site a new project for my new business.
    I need design for ...

    - Stationary
    - Business card
    - Product catalogue

    The freelancers understand Stationary and business card but dont understand what i mean when i say 'catalogue'????
    Is it me or are they being stupid? maybe because im from a different country???

    What do you guys call a product catalogue?

    A catalog is generally a multi-page booklet from which customers can order from. A brochure is generally a folded sheet that simply describes what's available, and invites people to call a number for more information.

    Try to find a picture of what you need online and send it to your freelancer as an example.

    catalog or just call it the lists of brochure or the pamphlet, however , they are different meanings

    If you are targeting U.S. writers, it is catalog, but they should still understand what you mean by catalogue. A catalog is similar to a magazine that customers flip through to view pictures, descriptions and prices of your products, so they can order from it. A brochure provides overview, with some detailed, information on the products or services and the business you run. Generally, catalogs are more comprehensive than a brochure and tend to be product-based rather than service-based.
