Your site is clean and simple, nice site.

 

The content of your site is very good, but i think it needs more pictures and colour.

 

the current template is too much simple. You should consider adding a colorful header to it.6/10

I agree with what everyone said. It's a common problem for startup sites, they are too plain and simple. It needs more colors and/or graphics.

 

I changed the site up a bit, removed it from wordpress now, what do you think of it? I like simple but I added more color in respect to purple and light purple

 

over all look is good, but I would suggest to remove those adsense at the first look.

 

The adverts drown out the text. Also, think it needs more color, purple gets a bit bland.

Upon visiting your site, straight away all I see are the ads. Thus I would lose interest immediately. I always show some of the article and just put ads down one side (even in the middle of the article). I think people would be more interested and they will stay on your site longer.

If I saw a site with just ads showing, I would lose interest in the first second. But if there was a good article that caught my attention immediately I was on the site, I would start to read it, and look around the site and click on a couple of interesting ads.

I've made a screenshot, i think you have all your ADSENSE gatherd together and makes the page much more ugly.. sorry to say

 

i think if you changed the site from being fluid to a fixed width site it would definitely help.

Remove the ads from the top of the page and put it below the content.

 

Whats up with the gap between the ads, its like a empty square with ads all around it. So every visitor will see only ads and ads first. I think you should move the content little up and jazz up the site a little with some graphics.

Hi,

You've got a big white space in prime territory. Are you missing a picture or an article, or more info about your site?

Generally I don't like lavender as a site color unless you are only trying to appeal to 13 year old girls. You're cutting out a large segment of your potential clientele simply by your color selection.

All of the google ads will draw people away from your site. If it is only meant to be an adsense bait then the site is ok being so heavily populated with ads. But it probably will never rank well in the search engines because the articles are below the fold on the page and not very prominent.
