i hate it...its much slower, and layout is different, so im not as quick

the only good thing is the tabs feature and the resolution is much better

I can not stand it. I have honestly tried to give it a shot since FireFox has been messing up on me a lot lately. For some reason none of my media plugins work anymore. In those rare instances that I have to watch a video or something I have to open up the new IE, but that is the only time it happens.

I also gave it an honest shot because firefox has been doing funny things.

    But it sucks bad.

Its worse than ie6. The css thing is shocking

It sucks, I hate it a lot. I like IE6 a lot better because it's cleaner and crisper. IE7 is bloated and a load of crap..

Very slow and the css is having lots of issues for me.

I will keep using Firefox and wait for a more stable version of IE7.

    Hi all,
All you said is okey, but tell me which OS are you using?

Coz IE7 is specially designed for "Windows XP with Service Pack 2", Microsoft will very soon be releasing for Windows 200 too. What i feel in person os OS might cause such difference that you were discussing above in this thread.

I installed it on my wife’s laptop and it seems ok. It won’t replace Opera or FF but I think it’s an improvement although it still has many problems that need attention.

So your wife is your beta tester? Nice! Does she know this? Or do you tell her you are "doing her a favor" and "updating". :)

I thought IE was the best until I used Firefox. Definitely a much better and reliable browser. You can customise it to any end. I've got a sort of wood-like skin along with GMail notifier and a StumbleUpon toolbar.

She’s running a few beta programs and doesn’t even know it... The reason I only installed on her pc is that her laptop has the “$genuine advantage$” if you know what I mean. ;)

Actually I like it, a few bugs like any browser in beta, but it's an improvement on 6 and works well enough for me.
