Experienced this for the first time with Amazon yesterday.

What does this mean? The buyer did a chargeback?

Yes, the buyer must have brought the product, didn't like it and therefore returned or refunded it.

I didn't know that Amazon takes away your commission when a buyer returns something. That sucks.

You see it from time to time but don't worry, the Amazon return rate is generally very low.

I have had this happen several times, it stinks but hey someone buys something and doesn't like it and returns it. You can't fault amazon they can't pay you a commission if they are not making any money off the sale.

It does suck, but Amazon is a business so they won't refund from their own pocket. Instead they would take the referral fee from the affiliate. But they chargeback is always minimal

It really sucks, but when somebody returns something you lose the commission. It stinks if you've already been paid and then you have a negative balance. Happens with me sometimes.
