Hello, everybody, I am very excited about one of my websites getting sitelinks. Today I've read a lot of material about it over the Internet, but I get a bit lost in all that mass of information over my head. I have 2 questions, just need to know your opinion. 1. What does it mean to my website from Google's point of view? I heard this means Google "loves" my website, or at least "respects" . I also heard this means "Trust" and "Branding". What's your opinion about it? 2. If my website has got 8 sitelinks, what does that mean? I heard you can get minimum 2 and maximum 8 sitelinks, and only old sites get 8 links, which also means your website is very much trusted by Google. If it true, what do you think? Will be glad to hear your opinions!
This is a kind of trust to your website from google. This made for the convenience of google's users. But this doesn't defend your website from filters like Panda
I've read a little about Google Panda, that was something new to me. Does anyone know when exactly was this algorithm update launched by Google? I really experienced a great drop in search engine traffic volume on 24-25 January. Might this be Google Panda affecting the website?
Sitelinks are links to a site's interior pages. Not all sites have sitelinks. Google generates these links automatically. They are meant to help users navigate your site.
The site links tell the SE the important links from the home page to other important inner pages with respect to the number and quality of links and how well the keywords are being used.
