For your email marketing design what do you use - the Template provided by the Email marketing provider or do you use original hand-coded HTML? Anybody know, which works best?
YES VALID DIV BASE DESIGN IS BEST.. VISIT PLEASE slicingpsdtohtml.com your design to xhtml conversion.
Thanks Alf. Are their specific sizes and specifications for lenght, height for .html emails (in the same way that designers often need specifications for print design)
Plaintext - with HTML - template or not - people (and many spam filters!) automatically see it as spam. It actually kind of pisses me off getting html e-mails. - It's e-mail, if you can't say it in plaintext, I don't give a flying ****.
The online email marketing software I'm using - Campaign Monitor only seems to give the option for .html? (plain text is not mentioned!)
There, fixed. But then I don't consider e-mail marketing a legitimate marketing technique. Neither do 99.9999% of people recieving e-mails from them.
If it's not a legitimate marketing technique why do most Fortune 500 companies use it then? Why do some of the most efficient and effective marketing organisations in the world use it? Why do NGO's and charitable organisations use it? I hate junk mail also, but that does not mean to say I will never buy from a company that uses it. If I get an appealing offer in my door that resolves a problem I will definitely consider using or buying the service or product.
