    Hello,
I am about to deploy a website to a windows dedicated server because my hosting company says I am eating up too much cpu time and bandwidth. So I need to learn how to manage a windows dedicated server. I will be using asp.net 3.5. Thanks

    Hi,

I suggest you make sure they set you up with a control panel (e.g. Plesk, Helm).

Unfortunately your question is simply too broad to give a good answer.

If you want to be able to handle and fix anything? ;)
Get a good Windows 2003/2008 Server Book
    Get a good IIS (6/7) server-book
    Get a ASP.Net programming book

Spend a few months reading and experimenting.

Of course you probably don't have the time for this and then I'd limit it to getting a good idea on how to do basic tasks in IIS and Windows Server.

You should probably find a server management company to help you out when you can fix your own issues.

Agreed, or just get a server company that provides management, that way everything is under one roof.
