What do christians think about christian illegal immigrants?

This is targeted towards all the DP christians on this forum who openly speak out against illegal immigrants, I'm curious about your answer. Should christian illegal immigrants also get kicked out of the US with the rest of illegal immigrants? Does the goverment law matter more than your spiritual brother/sister in Christ?

-Secondly were not the disciples of christ and early christians illegal immigrants in other countries? You know, coming into a country where they are not wanted, starting trouble, getting stoned and kicked out, yet returning back illegally? (Just read the book of Acts, afterwards read-up on some history)

Personally, I wouldn't discriminate between a Christian and nonchristian illegal immigrant they should all be treated the same. (religion doesn't necessarily reflect that the person is good... not too everyone)

    Guest is King

If people behave like guests regardless of spritual background then they will be threatened like kings.

Even you in your own country.

There is no such a thing than illegal immigration, - migration and immigration is a basic human right. Our planet is to be shared with everyone.

The law is just in place to control illegal activities such as crime, undermining of democratic structures(wishful thinking for this time), transnational crimes etc..

When a Christian immigrates to a country of his choice and he's for real and not just using it as a cover for immigration, then s/he would be an asset to that country.

I think we all know what a real Christian is capable of.

If someone is an illegal immigrant, I don't want them here. Period.

    That simple enough for you?

An illegal immigrant is an illegal immigrant regardless of their religion. Over here we have enough UK citizens trying to milk the system, without having to worry about supporting illegals from elsewhere!

exactly....separation of church and state...doing something that is illegal doesn't make it right if you are a christian. Also, helping illegal immigrants if you are a christian is not legal either.

For kicking illegal immigrants out: I would look at the story, obviously if they're running from war and such it would be understandable.. but just simply sneaking in to take advantage of what the country has to offer without contributing (via taxes) I'm against this.

If they're claiming asylum I think that's slightly different although there are very few immigrants, certainly arriving in my country, who can genuinely say their life is in danger in their homeland. Another annoying thing is that, due to our island status, most illegals only arrive in the UK if some other country has negated it's responsibilities towards them. No names, no pack drill - but FRANCE have a lot to answer for!

I don´t believe in the law preferring any sort of religious group. That´s what is being done in Muslim countries and goes against everything that I believe in.

Illegal immigration is just that, illegal, I don't care what religion someone is. In fact, once my spanish has improved I was actually going to explain to the spanish church that meets where our church does, that as a Christian they should be respecting the laws of the land. Hopefully educate them on how to go through the legal process to get here if possible for them.

The worst part is I have heard that parts of Mexico, because of there heritage or race they are not even given birth certificates, etc... because they are considered to be non-human. Those are the people that I believe come here illegally in larger percentages. So in a way, they have no legal way to get here, but I am betting there are ways to get what they need to do that also.

Christians are told to obey the laws of the land as long as they don't violate God's law.

So no. They don't get sympathy if they're trying to break the law to be here.

Insteresting comments. I was curious of what you guys would say, so the goverment law does mean more...but no one answered the second part:

So if one goes along with the comments and beliefs of most of the christians who posted on this thread, then the disciples and most of early christianity in history were illegal immigrants, law-breakers and "trouble-makers". So you're also saying they should never have done what hypocritically many of you and christians praise and admire them for, because they were still illegal.

    Thanks for sharing. ;)

Legal / Illegal, who gives a crap.

Lock down the borders and just keep open doors to Mexico. We need them badly for our economy (as they do us).

The time has passed for "Give me your tired, your poor, your ..." We've got enough people draining my tax dollars at the current moment. Keep your citizens for yourself, we don't want them anymore.

Not only should we shut our doors to immigrants but we should keep our money here also. We need to fix our problems and let the rest of the world sort out theirs.
