What do big hosting companies run on?

    e.g. hostgator.com and godaddy.com they use the same script.

    I am looking for this script for my hosting/domain company :):)

    Thanks for any help

    and if you need cheap hosting with cpanel 11 everything you need and loads of webspace/monthly traffic pm me.

    Are you talking about the script that they use to sell their hosting? Because the only good script that I would recommend is WHM AutoPilot.

    But I don't see HostGator and GoDaddy having anything in common, other than cPanel, which is a client interface panel that many web hosts offer their clients. It's unbelievably powerful and efficient, but I'm guessing you already know what cPanel is from your main post...What else are you talking about?

    Godaddy uses mostly inhouse designed stuff for connecting all 3rd party stuff (like cpanel) together; there stuff is quite nicely integrated and it is all working quite well. Last time I checked (which is a while ago) HG was using more standard stuff off-the-shelve.
