    Hi,

What do article-rewriters do? Do they just take the article you give them and re-word it?

    Any information appreciated.

    Thanks, Will

Article rewriters take content you own and change it so that it stays "fresh" for search engines. It is less expensive than writing content outright. I hope that helps!

Pretty much. "Rewriters" just change the wording around a bit and use different adjectives.

An article re-writer does exactly what their name suggests. They take previously written content (often plr) and write it again. Because they don't have to do any research, and simply have to change a few words around in each sentence, it is a really cheap and quick process.
Good for getting lots of articles quickly, but not fantastic for quality.

Depends on the person. They can either completely rewrite based on the information and content or they can just jumble and change the words.

I'd also say it depends on the writer and what you are asking for. Some re writers I can give an article or a link and they'll research it and give me a completly changed article that is better the the original and then i have had some re writers just change word structure so it passes copyscape, dupe free etc. Also some re writers charge the same for their "original" content as the do for re writes

If you're considering becoming an article rewriter, keep this in mind - you should always be absolutely certain that the client actually owns the right to the article, or has rights to create edited versions. If they give you a link to something in an article directory or on a major site in their niche and tell you to rewrite the content, you'll generally be violating copyright laws. They can't commission a derivative work without the copyright holder's permission, and a lot of folks don't realize that, so it would fall on you to verify it before taking on a project.

Exactly. Rewriting is a specified type of work. It is not getting a link to a random article and then creating something similar. It is rewriting an article that a client already owns. This is usually a cost-effective option because rewriters are generally shooting for about 70% originality, and there are NO copyright issues because the client owns the content. The 70% is simply to satisfy search engines that the content is new.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't wanting to be an article re-writer, I was just wondering what an article re-writer would do with the articles I gave him :p

Article rewriters take PLR private label articles and reword them. Or, they take content from the internet and rewrite it in their own words. The latter is subject to copyright babble.

I think that a quality rewriter gives the article a fresh new approach to an old article. They may take the time if they are a good writer to see if there is any new information on the topic.

I'm not particularly fond of rewriting. For some reason, people are allowed to pay a rewriter around $1.50 for 500 words and everyone seems happy. It takes just as long to type something into a search engine, open a few tabs on the subject and type it from scratch. Even if it sucks, at least it's fresh lol.

I swear, I think it's much harder to rewrite a single document than write a brand new one.
