    Hello

I live in the UK, and I have a question about the term which Americans mostly use to refer to cell phone text messages?

    SMS?

    Text Messages?

    Texts?

    Thanks

SMS is the Acronym for Short Message Service. Mobile phone text messages sent to friends and love ones. It is gradually replacing calls nowadays. Most people hardly call. They just text each other.

    Americans always talk about "texting"

I've never had anybody asked me to short message service them....
