Hi My site reviews (computer hardware mainly) products. It also lists specifications about them, and links to (online) shops that sell those products. What shall I write as a disclamier? I was thinking: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR INCORRECT INFORMATION. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK ALL INFORMATION GIVEN. WE ARE JUST LISTING A BASIC REVIEW, WHICH IS OUR OPINION OF THE PRODUCT/PRODUCTS. We cannot be held responsible for any damages to you, anyone else, or loss in profits, or anything else. This site is not responsible for any damage (including, but not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, damages to yourself or other persons or items, or death) that the information on this site may cause to your system. What would you put?
Something like this perhaps [replace [xxx] with your site name]: The Service is a free service offered by [xxx] unless otherwise stated and advised. Hope this helps
Thanks. I used that as a basis on techneek.co.uk/misc/disclaimer.php Do you think that will be ok? I don't want to provide information about a product (for example if i say it is 400gb but really only 10gb), then a viewer trusts what I say, then decides to sue me because I made a mistake/linked to wrong thing/etc.
